Imagine you live next to a group of young fun-loving neighbours. You get on really well with them but their late night partying and obsession with rap music is disturbing your sleep and consequently your work performance. You are afraid of being fired. What would you do?
Imagine, you have been extremely fortunate as a great-aunt has left you a lot of money in her will. That’s correct; as a result of this inheritance you are no longer as poor as a church mouse. If this situation happened to you, what would you do with the inheritance?
Imagine you work in an open-plan office and the staff member who works opposite you is a gigantic chatterbox. This is becoming a huge problem for you because you are finding it increasingly difficult to concentrate on your work. Indeed, most days you don’t finish your daily tasks and consequently have to work unpaid overtime. And, last but not least, it’s costing you a fortune in headache painkillers. What would you do?

WORD OF THE WEEK
A culture vulture is a type of person who is keen on city breaks, visiting museums and art galleries, reading about history and culture and generally getting to know information about how other people lived, live and will live.
IMPROVE YOUR VOCABULARY: Synonyms and Antonyms.
As you know at Inglés Málaga we are not keen on learning by looking at long lists. Lists are for shopping, daily tasks and reminding yourself to wash the windows and write to your mother!
In our opinion it is much more effective and personal to improve your vocabulary through situational learning. When you learn a new word make sure you know the opposite and at least one synonym.
For example: The situation is Holidays, my new word is: happy, my synonym is cheerful, my opposite is: unhappy.
