Level playing field is a common expression used to describe a situation as fair or, the contrary, unfair.

For example, do you think in bullfighting there a level playing field between the bull and the bullfighter?

The icing on the cake

The icing on the cake, or the cherry on the cake is a useful idiom if you are talking about something which is good but you want to say that within that good thing there was something even better. For example, Olympic athletes all want to win an Olympic medal, but the icing on the cake would be to win a gold medal.

Or, on a personal note, playing pool is fantastic, but the icing on the cake is when I win without cheating. This does not happen very often.

To have itchy feet

To have itchy feet means to have a strong desire to travel or move from place to place. For example: Janette has extremely itchy feet because she finds it very difficult to stay in one place for a long time. Having said that, I reckon she must be in love because she has been in Málaga for years!
