The clients of Inglés Málaga have a lot to celebrate. 2015 has definitely been a year of overcoming challenges, success and achievement. Indeed, on a professional level we have:
- passed a lot of official English qualifications
- set up new businesses
- won new clients
- got jobs abroad
- got better jobs in Spain
- had job interviews and recruitment assessments in English
- improved and used our English to meet new people and help lost tourists in the streets of Málaga
- been visited 14,000 times from 120 different countries
Furthermore, between us we have had our first baby, our first wedding, and, we are pregnant again! On a personal note, I have successfully NOT burnt down the kitchen which, for those of you who know me well, IS a massive achievement.
Inglés Málaga clients are deliciously amazing and you should all be proud of yourselves. We certainly aren’t sheep, we do stand out from the crowd, and, like Star Wars, ‘our force has awakened’!
So, say goodbye to 2015 and hello to 2016; it is going to be a year of joy, fun, ambition and success!
To pucker up is a phrasal verb which means to get your lips ready to kiss somebody, or as they say in Yorkshire: ‘ to snog the face off’ somebody.
For example, I am usually the first person to pucker up under the mistletoe during the festive season of Christmas. You’ve got to be in it, to win it!
2014 has been a great year for the Inglés Málaga community.
Unbelievably, we represent 114 countries, of which I am ashamed to say, that before this year I hadn’t heard of some of them. We have been viewed over 15,000 times, of which over 10,000 hits came from Spain.
We have worked hard, we have laughed a lot and we have achieved: we have passed language qualifications, we have got new jobs, we have been promoted, we have moved abroad; we have even had a wedding and a birth! We have had requests and enquiries from our competitors and we have had a formal complaint! I am so proud of you all!!
So, are we ready for 2015? Do you have you grapes ready? I think we are: bring on the joy, the happiness and hopefully a lot of wine. Finally, if you decide to go ice skating to celebrate the New Year, don’t do as I did and break your wrist.
My family have told me that I look great in a cast, but, I think I look better next to George. See you in 2015!
