To be as busy as a beaver: Is a common expression that means you are very, very busy. It also usually means you are hardworking and productive. You can use this expression for work or personal situations. At the moment, I´m as busy as a beaver sorting through all the junk I´ve collected over the years. My mission for the end of the year is to get rid of the old so I have space in my life for new things.
