Comfort zone is a noun. It describes a situation or a position where a person feels secure, comfortable and in control. Unless you are an adrenalin junkie most of us don’t like to leave or to step out of our comfort zone.
However, it is said that it is good for your mental and physical well-being if you do it. Of course, sometimes you need a helping hand or in my case, a big kick in the backside, but it is definitely worth it.
If you haven’t stepped out of your comfort zone this year, I would definitely recommend it. Last Sunday I stepped out of my comfort zone and found myself hanging off a rock with a friend and a harness saving me from free falling 15 meters. Perfect!
