To be / feel red with rage

to be red with rageIs an idiom which means you are very, very, very angry.
For example, my mother was red with rage when my brother tried to burn down our family home. I know, what a nut job my brother is.

Ok, so he was 5 at the time and my elder sister gave him the matches and I told him that my feet were cold, so, logically he tried to make both of his sister’s happy.

Interestingly, my brother turned out to be the most level-headed sibling and both my sister and I have issues. My younger sister, is and will always be, a sandwich short of a picnic.
