So, last night I went to bed after 2am and then set my alarm for 5am so I could experience some of election fever before going to the gym. It was great, I woke up as they were ‘calling’ Ohio and found out straight away that Obama had been re-elected. I initially felt relieve and then, as I’m easily manipulated, I felt hope and optimism as I listened to Obama’s victory speech.
If you are interested in politics , or you just want to practise your listening skills I recommend that you listen to Obama’s victory speech. He speaks slowly and clearly.
