Truth be told, I have no idea what this local holiday is all about. Is it religious? Is it political? Is it cultural? Or, is it simply an excuse to have a day off work to have some fun?
Regardless of the reason, it’s great to take time out of your daily routine in order to celebrate. My favourite family celebration is our annual croquet competition. The majority of my family take this event very seriously, however my brother and I usually drink one too many and spend most of the time rolling around the lawn laughing.
