Malaga Day – What’s it all about?

Truth be told, I have no idea what this local holiday is all about. Is it religious? Is it political? Is it cultural? Or, is it simply an excuse to have a day off work to have some fun?

Regardless of the reason, it’s great to take time out of your daily routine in order to celebrate. My favourite family celebration is our annual croquet competition. The majority of my family take this event very seriously, however my brother and I usually drink one too many and spend most of the time rolling around the lawn laughing.

Janette is very serious about winning the croquet title!

What’s your favourite family celebration?

  2. Good morning Miguel,
Thanks for letting us know about the significance of this day. Enjoy the day and I hope that at some point we see the Virgin Victoria paraded around the streets. I’m going to celebrate with a carrot and tomato smoothie as it will help protect my health!

    Enjoy!!
